Isabella Gibson, a sophomore physics major in Physics and Astronomy at WVU, was awarded the O. Rex Ford Scholarship for undergraduate studies.
She currently works under Dr. Maura McLaughlin in pulsar research with an emphasis in astrophysics and computational physics.
In January, she traveled to Honolulu, Hawaii to present her research to the American Astronomical Society which included timing follow-up Rotating Radio Transients with the Green Bank Telescope.
