Mae's project is simulating Fast Radio Burst populations observed by CHIME, and making statistical predictions on how many repeating FRBs CHIME will be able to see.
Her advisor is Dr. Duncan Lorimer.
Academically,
she is interested in anything that has to do with telescopes! She plans to
pursue a career in either radio/optical astronomy that involves science
outreach. Outside of STEM, she loves art, proper hamster care, and driving
in her space-decked-out car.
