Areas of research include gravitational-wave science, black holes, machine-learning methods in astrophysics.
Vladimir's research focuses on various aspects of the future gravitational-wave detector LISA (Laser Interferometer Space Antenna). On the technical side, Vladimir is interested in data processing methods which can effectively solve the so-called global fit problem in LISA. On a more applied level, he studies how LISA can help us understand astrophysical populations, such as binary black holes and double white dwarfs.
Broader interests include applications of machine learning in astrophysics.
