Sid's research interests include binary black hole waveform development for LIGO. He works on improving the physics of binary black-holes to get more accurate waveforms for LIGO’s parameter estimation. Additionally, he works on developing new approaches to modeling the dynamics of circumbinary accretion disks to explain their behavior in simulations as well as to develop possible observable signatures of these disks.
