Shawaiz's research interests include Galactic Millisecond Pulsar Population Synthesis, Pulsar Searching and Timing and Multi-wavelength studies of Pulsars. He is currently working on understanding the galactic population of millisecond pulsars (MSP) by creating models based on the observed population.
