Dylan uses radio observations to study the interstellar medium (ISM), especially ionized hydrogen, within the Milky Way. These observations are used to characterize the distribution, motion, and temperature of the gas, which gives insight into the structure and evolution of the Milky Way via processes like high mass star formation.
