Pranav works on studying Fast Radio Bursts (FRB) through developing building instruments to detect them. He primarily works on building the outriggers to extend the CHIME/FRB (Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment/FRB). He has built a 6m dish array as a prototype at Green Bank Observatory and is helping develop and build the upcoming larger scale outrigger on site. These would work with CHIME to perform Very Large Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) to provide subarcsecond localization of FRBs.
